How to expel war and import democray and civilization to the U.S.
In a democracy, the government fears the people. The U.S. government has absolutely no fear of its people. The attitude was expressed best by 19th Century robber baron Jay Gould when he was asked how he would deal with his exploited workers if they realized they were doing all the work and he was reaping all the profits. They are so dumb and brainwashed that "I can get one-half to kill the other half" he responded.

Until Americans are trained to think, we will always be servants of the corporations and their government handmaidens. For instance, most Americans don't have the mental capacity to question why the U.S. goes to war every 1.5 years. Most can't even form the question. Ronald Reagan promised a "peace dividend" once the Soviet Union was defeated. The Soviet Union began to fall apart in 1989 the year George H. W. Bush lied his way into the White House.

Since the peace dividend began in 1989, the U.S. has invaded 10 nations. That leaves one common denominator behind incessant world wars and disorder--the United States of America. No more than 8% of Americans are capable of reaching that simple deduction.

People who can not think deductively and inductively are incapable of developing a conscience that can distinguish right from wrong. When Americans behave like Nazis as they are doing in Iraq, most people are unable to see that George W. Bush is torturing and mass murdering people and acting exactly like Saddan Hussein did.

How can we stop American aggression, bullying and thuggery?
In times of conflict, require all corporations to turn over all profits to the U.S. Treasury. Also, require all executive bonuses to go to the Treasury. Limit executive salaries to $250,000 per year. In the past, during times of war, sacrifice is asked of most Americans. The poor sacrifice the most. Our leaders always tell us corporations have the right to make a profit even during the worst crises. They never are asked to sacrifice. They never will sacrifice. Stop the profits and the wars will stop.

George W. Bush said "free nations are peaceful nations." As implied above, no one goes to war more often than the U.S. does. Therefore, by Bush's reasoning, the U.S. is the most unfree nation in the world.

We live in the space age under a horse-and-buggy Constitution. The conflict produces a completely dysfunctional nation. Crime abounds. The worst criminals, the white collar felons, seldom are punished for their crimes even though they steal 33 times as much as street criminals. The people have a say in about 20% of relations that affect their lives. The "private sector" has nearly totalitarian powers. The U.S. government can be described as a plutocracy, oligarchy, polyarchy, aristocracy or blachocracy (gov't by fools and morons). It does not fit the definition of democracy.

Before democracy and civilization is possible in the U.S., a new, modern constitution is essential. It must give so much power to the people that the government will fear them. It must emasculate the corporations to the point that the government will not fear them. It must enfranchise all of the people. A parliamentary system with proportional representation must be at the core of any change. Currenly, only the corporations and plutocrats are represented.

Finally, a free press is critical. Edmund Burke called the press the Fourth Estate that is more critical to a free nation than all the other three estates. The mainstream media in the U.S. are not a Fourth Estate. They are a Fifth Column that subverts the Constitution and betrays the people. The media must be taken out of the control of the corporations.
