Dec. 1 at Stroger Hospital, Cook County workers rally for a fair contract

COOK COUNTY EMPLOYEES represented by AFSCME are intensifying their battle for a fair contract. They've flooded county board meetings, held worksite pickets and workplace solidarity days, and this Thursday, Dec. 1, AFSCME members in Cook County will come together for a spirited lunchtime rally at Stroger Hospital.

Union members are sending a clear message to the county that a year of bargaining is too long already. It's past time to come to the table with a fair contract, including reasonable pay increases and affordable health insurance!
