Where the hell do you start when you are looking at John Negroponte's rap sheet? He has been a high dollar criminal since the Reagan era and a certain couple of covert police actions in Honduras that were the beginning of the "war on terror" in Central America - many dissidents and just plain unlucky people were slain - up to his more recent slitherings in Iraq, wending his way into the nostrils and assholes of one Dick Cheney and one George W. Bush, to nest in those cozy little portals, as the national intelligence director, looking for a way out of adhering to the Geneva convention rules on torture. I believe he is still ambassador to Iraq, a Jewish man who almost certainly spied for Israel and has been their point man at the UN for god knows how long is the ambassador in an Arab country - ha ha.
