Evening of Solidarity with Anti-Colonial Struggles
Stan Goff is the author of "Hideous Dream: A Soldier's Memoir of the US Invasion of Haiti" and "Full Spectrum Disorder: The Military in the New American Century". He is a member of the BRING THEM HOME NOW! coordinating committee, a retired Special Forces master sergeant, and the father of an active duty soldier in addition to writing for Counterpunch and other progressive publications. Goff is currently working on a book concerning gender and sex in the military.

Matthew Cassel, member of the Palestine Solidarity Group (PSG) that has recently returned from a year in the Occupied Palestinian Territories
Speakers will report on anti-colonial struggles in Iraq, New Orleans, Palestine and Puerto Rico and discuss their relevance to the growing antiwar movement. Youth from Batey Urbano will discuss their experiences in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The event will also feature a display of photographs taken during Cassel's stay in Palestine.
