Journalist Kevin Pina's film - Haiti, the Untold Story - in Chicago in November
Independent Journalist Kevin Pina's film - Haiti, the Untold Story - coming to Chicago in November for five showings.
Independent journalist and film maker, Kevin Pina,
will be in Chicago from November 7 - 11 to hold 5 separate showings of his important new
documentary film entitled - "Haiti, the Untold Story." This film, produced at great personal risk, graphically portrays what, in fact, is happening in Haiti today. It deals with the brutal daily oppression of the Haitian people
by the U.S. installed interim government. Following the film, Kevin will discuss his film and take questions from those attending. The film is free and open to the public.
Kevin has been living in and reporting from Haiti for the past 3 years and has covered Haiti for the past 10 years. He is affiliated with Haiti Action, the Black Commentator and is a special correspondent for Flashpoints radio broadcast live on air and online 5 days a week on Pacific Network's KPFA in Berkeley, CA. Kevin courageously regularly reports what the
dominant corporate media ignores, suppresses or
grossly distorts.
