Cindy Sheehan has now waited outside the presidential ranch for 9 days to talk with Bush. At her request, hundreds of peace activists from all around are joining her there. Lakermom has the same thoughts (here) as we do (here) on the best way to get to Crawford in comfort and style, and she's got the perfect name for it, too. The Peace Train, also known as Amtrak Texas Eagle goes from Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA, and somewhere near the middle of its epic voyage, it stops in McGregor, TX, only 6 miles from the Crawford Peace House (map here).

From Chicago it takes 26 hours and costs $158. The train leaves at 3:20 PM everyday.

From Los Angeles it takes 44 hours and costs $177. The trains leaves at 2:30 PM everyday.
