Ninety one year old labor writer and activist Harry Kelber brought down the house at the AFL-CIO convention when he talked about dissent and mobilizing the grassroots.

[Harry Kelber] : "You don't see any dissidents mentioned in any publication. And often they're denounced. They're treated as pariahs. And we have to treat all union members with respect and dignity if this is going to be a labor movement. Employers will never destroy this labor movement. And as long as I live I will do my best to work with you."
