Wilme was the preeminent armed leader in the struggle for the return of Aristide. There were other actions on Wednesday throughout Port au Prince's poorest neighborhoods against other pro-Aristide and Lavalas elements. CNN quotes one young Aristide supporter; "The Dread has been killed. They are killing us, we, Aristide's children, we may be killed, but we'll continue to fight for Aristide's return," said a young partisan of the ousted leader, who vowed revenge. This could have a nasty snowball effect leading to even more violence.
