Sunday June 26th the Queer & Trans Caucus of the Chicagoland Anarchist Network is calling for an Anarchist Bloc in the corporate Pride Parade. We
will be marching with the Gay Liberation Network in their Anti-War Contingent ("Money for Heathcare Not for Warfare").

Anarchists and anti-authoritarians who would like to march with us under the banner of "Queer Liberation Not Assimilation" are encouraged to meet up with us at the Anti-War Contingent's starting point, which is at Halsted and
Diversy at 11:30 am sharp. Be there or be a log cabin republican.

This will be the 5th year in a row that queer anarchists have marched in the Pride Parade to protest the corporate takeover of Pride. Our pride cannot be bought and sold to the highest bidder! We encourage GLBTs to question the nature of heterosexist institutions such as the military, marriage, the police force and the corporate boardrooms.

Also be sure to join us the day before Pride as we have an Anarchist Feeder to the Dyke March which starts with a picnic in Clarendon Park (Clarendon & Wilson) at 11:30 am, kicks off at 12:30 and meets up with the rallying point for the Dyke March at 1:30 pm.
