RACHEL: AN AMERICAN CONSCIENCE is a documentary film about a 23 year old American who gave her life defending human rights and freedom two years ago. With her death, Rachel Corrie's work and message became a beacon of hope in a sadly dark world.

Mr. Yahya Barakat, director of this powerful 90 minute documentary, goes beyond the politics of the Occupation to depict the facts on the ground. He shows the Palestinian struggle, and shows what motivates concerned individuals from around the world to come to Palestine to resist demolition of Palestinian homes and lives.

The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (www.ipsc.ie) has issued a call for Irish supporters who attend this match to use the opportunity to protest against Israel's continued refusal to respect Palestinian rights and International law. To that end they are organizing demonstrations before the match begins to be followed by a show of solidarity from inside the stadium as thousands of Irish protesters take to their seats with Palestinian flags and other visible signs of support.

The Palestine Solidarity Group invites fans of football and supporters of justice in Palestine to kick back with us and enjoy this classic world cup qualifying match.

HEALTHCARE UNDER OCCUPATION: A Report on Palestinian, Israeli and International Healthcare Providers Working Together to Oppose the Occupation

Dr. Ellen Isaacs, a Cardiologist from New York, spent time earlier this year as part of a US delegation to provide medical assistance and gather information in partnership with Israeli and Palestinian medical relief agencies and human rights groups. She will speak and present a slide show about her experiences.

Anna Blackshire is a member of the Palestine Solidarity Group (www.psgchicago.org) and a registered medical assistant in Oak Park who traveled to Occupied Palestine in the Fall to volunteer her services as a medical health professional. For two months she was stationed in the West Bank city of Nablus where she worked for the Union of Palestinian Health Work Committees and learned about the occupation's detrimental impacts upon the Palestinian health care system and everyday life.
