CCDBR began as part of the struggle to disband the House Committee on Un-American Activities ("HUAC"), played a major role in opposing "red squad" spying in the seventies, and most recently played a key role in securing passage of the Chicago city council resolution against the Patriot Act.
The Bill of Rights Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit foundation which supports the struggle to protect the freedoms guaranteed in the bill of rights.
