Chicago Independent TV on CAN TV in April: A6, A12, & A15

Chicago Independent Television will be cablecast on CAN TV (cable channels 19 & 21 in Chicago) on the following dates in April:

Wednesday 4/6/05 at 10:30PM on Channel 21
Tuesday 4/12/05 at 11:40PM on Channel 19
Friday 4/15/05 at 10:00PM on Channel 21

THIS MONTH’S SHOW INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:

T.H.O.N.G. – THONG is a political activist group that organizes to fight against biogenetically modified foods, nanotechnology and the companies that threaten the independence of farmers from mega-corporations. THONG, an acronym for Topless Humans Organized for Natural Genetics, uses tactical protest methods, and is featured in this segment.

Englewood Fights Back – The Chicago Public Schools are involved in a downsizing and privatization campaign; but students, parents, and the community are fighting back, as featured in this segment.

The Subject of Palestine -. We take you to DePaul University to see a major art exhibit of works by and about Palestinians. Includes an interview with Menna Khalil of DePaul University Students for Palestine.
