Saturday, March 19th
Final Southside Feeder Route:
BEGINNING AT 51st St. to 51st/Pulaski (Military Recruitment Center)[TIME FOR THIS IS 5:20AM]
then north on Pulaski to Archer head northeast on Archer to Hoyne (because Damen doesn't go through to Archer at that point).
North on Hoyne to 31st St.(this will put us in view of folks on the Stevenson Expressway) then east on 31st. to Damen.
North on Damen to 18th St. (Zapata Park [named Harrison Park by the city])
Rally at 18th/Damen.
RALLY IS AT 7:30AM, KICK OFF 8:20AM]
East on 18th St. to Ashland north on Ashland
then continue onto Jackson and Ashland, go east on Jackson (past a large westside high school - Young HS)take Jackson to Wacker.
Go north on Wacker all the way to where Wacker becomes an east/west street. Go east on Wacker to the Israeli Consulate located at Michigan and
Wacker, 111 E. Wacker for Palestine Solidarity Rally. [RALLY AT 10:30AM, KICK OFF 11AM]
Then we travel north together to Oak/Michigan - the starting point for the March 19th large demo/march.


Friday, April 1st
APRIL FOOLS "CARNIVAL FOR CAPITALISM AND WAR"

Meet-up at 3:30PM at Haymarket Square, Desplaines and Randolph. Desplaines is 2 blocks west of Clinton.
4PM: Mock The Rich Snake March through down town Chicago. C'mon all you
Billionaires for Bush, let's all dress up in our best thrift store suits
and proclaim that "War is Good for Business!" Be creative! We've had a
Carnival Against Capitalism, now it's time for a Carnival For Capitalism! If you
can't beat them, join them! CAN is also calling for autonomous direct action, uncivil disobedience, street theater, creative resistance, pranks and merriment against
capitalism and war throughout the city on April Fool's Day!

Monday, April 4th
WEST SIDE COUNTER-RECRUITMENT MARCH AND VIGIL
4:00 PM Adams and Kedzie
March starts at Adams and Kedzie and goes south one block on Kedzie to
Jackson, east on Jackson to Western and then north on Western to North
Ave., West on North Ave. to Kedzie past the Illinois National Guard building and
then south one block on Kedzie to Humboldt Park.
6:30 PM Rally/Vigil at Humboldt Park.
April 4th is the 37th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. CAN is calling for a candle-light march and rally on the West
Side of Chicago to pay homage to the great anti-war and anti-militarization
work Dr. King did in the latter part of his life. Bring signs, banners and candles for a
respectful candle-light vigil and march.

Friday April 15th
"JUST SAY NO TO WAR" TAX ACTION
4:00 PM to Midnight at the Federal Plaza, Jackson & Dearborn.
Join us any time between 4:00 PM and Midnight to help pass out
anti-war, anti-militarization and war tax resistance leaflets across
from the downtown post office where people will be filing their last minute
taxes. Bring signs, banners and candles. Street theater welcome and
encouraged.
