"When you hear about the violence and what the Israelis are doing to the trees - tearing them down, uprooting olive trees with gigantic bulldozers - you have to ask yourself: Who belongs to this land, the indigenous peoples that have cared for these trees like their own children for generations upon generations - some of these trees are over a thousand years old - or people who are willing to uproot them from the ground and throw them out like they're nothing."
