Barak Obama, the new Senator from Illinois, has voted with the Bumbling Bush Addministrationo on two crucial issues. He voted for the confirmation of Condoleezza Rice as secretary of state. She has demonstrated that she is unqualified for the job and lacks the integrity to hold a position that sensative when the U.S. world image is at a nadir. She blatantly lied to the American people and Congress to dupe them into a costly war that had no justification. As National Security Advisor and head of the National Security Council, it was her job to bring together all intelligence information that could have prevented the 9/11 attacks. We now know there were 52 glaring alerts pointing to that incident. She was incapable of doing that relatively easy task. Or more likely, she was complicit in a Bumbling Bush plan to allow an attack so that Neo-Con plans for world conquest could be implemented. The secretary job is a reward for a job well done from the perspective of the Neo-Cons.

Secondly, Obama voted for a major piece of legislation on Thursday to eliminate reins on corporations. The only obstacle standing between corporations and their license to steal from the people, poison our children and babies and turn the earth into a smoking cinder is tort law. Corporations want to return to the robber baron era of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Congress is willing. The Administration is willing. The Supreme Court is willing. The Republican Party is willing. Barak Obama is willing to turn this nation's well-being over to a small band of greedy criminals that worships property and considers people to be a plentiful resource that is expendable.
