For anyone interested in going by bus from Chicago to Washington D.C. for the Counter-Inaugural Protests Against George Bush, his policies, his administration, his corporate backers, his corporate bankers, his ancestors and his descendents:

THIS IS THE LAST CALL TO BUY TICKETS FOR THE BUSES GOING TO THE THE COUNTER-INAUGURAL. YOU MUST CALL TODAY AND MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PAY FOR YOUR TICKET TODAY OR TOMORROW.

We have filled two buses, if we get twenty-five people today who can committ to paying the $80. roundtrip fare we will rent another bus and we will be able to give a number of scholorships to those who would go if they had the funds. Due to the generosity of a number of folks we have already given ten full or partial scholarships.
We would welcome further generosity of this type in order to be able to rent another bus. If you are able to donate please give us a call at 773 878-0166 so we can make arrangements to receive your donation in time.

The buses will leave on Wed. Jan. 19th at 5 pm from Columbus Drive between Adams and Jackson (behind the Art Institute) and will arrive in Washington before 9 am on Thursday, Jan. 20th. They will arrive back in Chicago prior to 9 am Friday, Jan. 21.

The buses are coach buses with toilets and the ability to show movies. In other words, they are not school buses but are modern and comfortable.

The Counter-Inaugural protest will inform Bush and the War Makers that the election was no mandate for their war against the world including the war against working and poor people here at home.

Many of us who are going had major differences during the last election and we discussed and debated these questions but we are all united in our opposition to the Bush Administration. We will give loud notice of this at Thursday's historiuc protest.
