Show Solidarity and stop CCC repression!!


The administration of the CCC have already eliminated part-time credit teachers for supporting the recent strike by CCCTU Local 1600 full-time teachers. They shut off the U-Passes of members of the Student Strike Support Committee. Now they have brought disciplinary charges, which could result in termination, against two unionized adult educators (who teach ESL and GED) for their strike support activities.

The situation at the city colleges, with multiple unions representing different parties within the system, has been set up such that the unions are forbidden from engaging in strike solidarity action. This is a messed-up arrangement, and it causes problems like this.

Support the rights of all workers to honor the picket-lines of their coworkers. Support the right of Solidarity for all union workers. Stop CCC's repression. Make them honor their word to stop reprisals against all teachers, students, and staff that supported the recent strike.
