!!!!!Guidance or Misguidance Financial Group!!!!

It is very sad to see what mortgage company is behaving with customers especially in the name of religion, Guidance Financial Group. Even though this group has founded to help Muslims rather it is used to deceive customers especially to its own people Muslims. They are taking too much advantage by using the words of Islamic, Sharia in regards to loan etc. What they did with our (SHAHJAHAN’S)
family was really a shocking and unbelievable manner. It looked like as if it is a common practice being untruthfulness to customers in United States of America. Guidance had been approved our Mortgage Loan for the last there (3) weeks until the closing day, but told us few hours before closing the house that we can not give you loan because of insufficient income and so forth. What is this? It is nothing but to inferior others. It was really an inhumanity and bogged us down.

It was very oppressing for anyone to believe what they had done to us. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: "The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim; he does not do injustice to him nor desert him." And he also (saw) said: "The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim; he does not oppress him, forsake him nor hate him."

Now lets look at the fact that had happened between Guidance and us: We had been working with Guidance Financial Group (although I do not recall it anymore) with the hope for financing our house in Sharia/Islamic way for the last one month, but it had turned out in most non-Islamic way. I thought these Muslims people are loving brothers that’s why we let them take any documents that they wanted to take from us from 1040EZ form to University of Maryland ID. Are those need for mortgage loan? I have little doubt on these. Eventually, it was all useless. Basically what happened was that we were supposed to get loan (although they do not call it loan rather CONTRACT but now seems to me that they are calling CONTRACT just to do business monopoly and also if they can deceive people then they can do anything in the name of Islam religion). They were supposed to come to closing table at 3:00 pm on the July 30th, 2004 rather they had called neither in writing nor 1 business day before closing that we can not give you loan because your income level is low etc.

What is this system? They should have been able to tell me this in the beginning when we first applied for this loan. Nonetheless, this Guidance Financial Group also gave loan approval letter. Now look at how these folks dealt with us: who do not say no but made us wait until the last minute whether we will get the house or not. Basically, they had been keeping us on hang until they had choked our enough swats. You as a reader can think of what kind a situation they had left us when we were ready to move into the new house On July 31st, 2004. What a tremendous loss we severed upon. Now you tell me are these Muslim brothers or bunch of hypocrites got together to deceive customers in the name of Islam religion.

Is this humanity? Is this a behavior of Mankind or is it something else? May be this is one of the reason that people are oppressed all over the world. It is very ashamed to say that until 3:00pm on Thursday the July 29th, 2004 as my-self and my dad signed Co-Ownership Commitment Agreement with the Guidance Financial Group. How shameful they can they be decide not to show up at closing table after every thing was approved such as loan, appraised the house, hazardous insurance, checked credit, inspected the houses and so forth.

I want to finish up with this thought that God Said in Quran (Muslim believing script), for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Chapter 2 verse 191. Who can tolerate this situation? It was really a disappointing to our whole family. I as a son had convinced my dad and relatives first to take Sharia/Islamic based loan. Now I as a Muslim had been disgraced because of my Muslim brothers. Not only the Guidance Financial hurt us financially but also to our relationships friends and families. In a word, Guidance was for Misguidance for us and they had been always giving hope until then last minute made us cry.
