CPD Uses Surveillance Camera Trucks At Unity Rally

Police came out in a multitude of ways at the Unity March. Mounted horses, Riot gear, and what I thought most notable...two small surveillance cameras atop two trucks around Federal Plaza. One was a converted waste management truck with a crane and bucket (akin to an electric company like ComEd or a tree trimmer company)..the other was a more traditional van type if I recall. And it wasn't exactly like the crowd was unruly...the organizers and speakers were too busy providing pro-Kerry and pro-military rhetoric to talk in realistic terms about things that matter or even start anything that the police would deem problematic. There was low turnout and many people left part way through.
