Jeremy Hammond was involved as the webmaster of ChicagoNewYork.net, has worked with a variety of anti-war, anti-capitalist organizations in the past, and was arrested facing felony charges at a police riot while defending the Gay Pride Parade from right-wing homophobes.

Activists all around the country have been targetted law enforcement surrounding the RNC protests. Chicago Police have shut down ChicagoNewYork meetings and other midwest activists have been harrased by federal agents surrounding the DNC protests.
