Stories about FBI harassment of DAN and RNC protesters are published in papers across the globe.
On July 8 an NYC activist organizing for protests against the DNC in Boston was questioned by FBI agents. Since then tens if not hundreds of activists, along with their friends and family, have been questioned by the FBI regarding protests planed for the DNC and the RNC.
For the past several weeks media relations activists all over the country have been working to get this story into the national news. It was rough going at first, with only two articles (in the Boston Herald and the Washington Post) published about the FBI harassment.
Yesterday, the New York Times ran an article about FBI questioning of activists who are organizing for the RNC. An AP article was also written and it was published today in nearly 100 newspapers around the world.
Thanks to everyone who worked to get this story out, including the Boston ABC, the DNC2RNC march, Kansas City Mutual Aid, UFPJ, and many others.
By working to get these stories in the media we are telling the FBI that we will not be intimidated by their tactics. We will be out in the streets defending out first amendment rights no matter how much pressure there is to stay home and keep quiet. Fuck the FBI.
