Grand Opening of Chicago Boycott Office August 7
Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC), AFL-CIO is opening a boycott office in Chicago to focus on the Mt. Olive Pickle Boycott. The office, although located in Chicago, will work to bring about awareness of and support for the boycott throughout Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

Baldemar Velasquez, President and Founder of FLOC will be here for the Grand Opening celebration to take place August 7, 2004 at 7pm. The celebration will be held at St. Pius V Parish 1919 S. Ashland. Guest Speakers will include Tim Leahy, Secretary-Treasurer Chicago Federation of Labor and Jose Oliva, Chicago Interfaith Committee on Worker Issues. Music and slide show by Chuy Negrete.
