Announcing a Rally at the AFL-CIO Executive Council Meeting

The AFL-CIO Executive Council will be meeting August 9-10 at the Drake Hotel, l40 E. Walton, Chicago. AFL-CIO President John Sweeney has directed locals to ignore the call to help organize the Million Worker March in Washington, D.C., on October 17. There will be a rally on Monday, August 9 between 5 and 6 p.m.in front of the Drake Hotel. The slogan of the march is "AFL-CIO Fight for Workers, Join the Million Worker March!"
