Know This. Hiphop is under attack once again! The Kool Mixx Event is an attempt to interfere with Hiphop’s further development and right to peacefully and productively exist. This is a direct violation of the Hiphop Declaration of Peace’s 6th Principle:

“”Hiphop culture honors no relationship, person, event, act or otherwise, wherein the preservation and further development of Hiphop’s culture, principles and elements are not considered or respected. Hiphop Kulture does not participate in activities that clearly destroy or seek to alter its ability to peacefully and productively exist. Hiphoppas are encouraged to initiate and participate in fair trade and honesty in all negotiations and transactions. “”

Kool is only the first, Salem is following suit and who knows who’s next. This is a truly a message from all of us is the Chicago Hiphop community that are not only participating in Hiphop’s elements, but working to preserve this culture, for our children and their children’s children, forever. To us Hiphop is not a product or demographic, it is the priceless principle of our self-empowerment. We will not sit by and watch companies market deadly products like cigarettes under the banner of Hip-Hop Culture. There it is!
