Illinois Renewable Energy Fair
On August 7 and 8, the Illinois Renewable Energy Association will be sponsoring its third annual Illinois Renewable Energy Fair.
The fair is taking place in Oregon, about 100 miles west of Chicago, at the Ogle County Fairgrounds. Check the link below for more information.
This event seems especially important this year since Exelon is moving ahead with a proposal to possibly construct a new reactor at its Clinton site, between Bloomington and Decatur. Nuclear power is NOT clean and is NOT renewable.
Incidentally, if anyone from the Chicago area is planning on driving out to this, I'm looking for a ride.
