Corner Day Laborers in Albany Park are organizing to improve their social and economic conditions by campaigning to open a democratic Workers' Center, a permanent location where they will be able to connect with employers and participate in programs such as English classes and vocational training.

Support their campaign for a democratic Workers' Center by petitioning registered voters in Albany Park this Sunday, the 13th, starting at 11am.

A petition orientation will be given at 11am at 4834 N. Springfield (one block east of Pulaski and 1/2 a block north of Lawrence) and then volunteers will spread out to collect the signatures of registered voters in the 39th ward.
