San Lucas Workers Center is hosting a community meeting with Elite Labor Services to challenge Elite's treatment of day labor workers.
Day labor agency, Elite Labor Services is opening up shop at 3215 W. Armitage.
Elite’s track record includes illegally deducting over $100,000 from day laborer’s checks for transportation, and shorting worker’s paychecks.
Elite’s clients include the Chicago Tribune and government-managed McCormick Place.
A community meeting with Elite Labor Services owner, Harvey Cole will be held Wednesday, April 28, 7:00 pm.
