TWO CHICAGO POETRY GROUPS TEAM UP TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL
POETRY MONTH

WHAT: "CHICAGO POETRY UNCENSORED"

WHO: The Guild Complex and one of America's leading
poetry websites, ChicagoPoetry.com, team up to help
kick off National Poetry Month with Chicago Poetry
Uncensored. Some of Chicago's favorite poets will each
be given six minutes to do their hottest poems. Expect
a wide variety of writing and performance styles with
host C. J. Laity. Participating poets include: Beatriz
Badikian, Molly McInerney, Jeanne Miller, Joel Brussel,
Charlie Newman, Kristy Bowen, Dean Shavit, Dave Gecic,
Emily Calvo, Erika Mikkalo, Gregorio Gomez, Cherie
Caswell Dost, Jose Bono, Carmel Carrillo, Vito Carli,
Jacqui Wolk, Kenya Robertson, Luis E. Pelayo, Michelle
Rigot, Pete Dederick and Larry O. Dean. Winners of the
2004 Frieda Stein Fenster Memorial Award will also be
announced.
