LOCAL Announcement :: Peace

Upcoming Chicagoland Forums on War vs Peace on Earth and In Space

Dr. Carol Rosin and Dr. Tad Daley, National Peace Advocates of Cailfornia, announce a speaking tour "Towards a Culture of Peace." Events will take place March 5-7 at various locations throughout the Chicago area. Events are free and open to the public.

Dr. Rosin, founder and president of the Institute for Cooperation in Space and the Space Preservation Trust Foundation, is an award-winning
educator, author, futurist, military strategist and consultant to the space and defense industries who has lectured internationally on the peaceful development of space. Rosin is regarded as the original political architect of the move to stop the Strategic Defense Initiative and Anti-satellite weapons. She is the official advisor on Space to China.

Despite the lack of public debate or congressional funding, Dr. Rosin will show how quickly space weaponization is progressing. She presents unique Win-Win ways to reverse this planet-threatening momentum.

Dr. Tad Daley, specialist on American foreign policy in the post-9/11 world, presents nuclear weapons issues, crimes against humanity, the United Nations system, and human destiny in space. He is currently National Issues Director and Senior Policy Advisor to presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich. Dr. Daley addresses how critical it is for voters to recognize the impact of the 2004 elections--especially on progress toward achieving international peace.

These events are being sponsored by the Kucinich for President Campaign (www.kucinich.us) and The Department of Peace Coalition (dopc.us), a citizens' group dedicated to creating a cabinet level Department of Peace proposed in House Bill HR1673.
