Because...

  • City College Tuition will increase from 52$ per class credit, to 62$ per credit starting the summer semester.
  • University of Illinois students face yet another year of double diget tuition increases.
  • At many area schools, more students end up in jail or in the military than in college.
  • The federal government is spending over 5 billion a month to occupy Iraq and Afganistan and Bush has proposed to increase the military budget by over nine percent, homeland security by ten percent, with less than a two percent for education.
