Pete Caithamer is working to get a radio program titled, DemocracyNow! on the air. He needs our help.




DemocracyNow! is a daily one-hour news show which actually covers the news without the spin factor. The program is very anti-Iraq war, anti-patriot act, pro-Kucinich, and a whole lot more. Peter has asked WBEZ, an NPR affiliate in Chicago, to pick it up. You can learn more about DemocracyNow! at www.democracynow.org and listen to any show aired since its inception in 1996 at Archives.




Ron Jones, the News Manager at WBEZ, will be making a decision on Peter's request within the next few days.  We need to call him and ask him to put DemocracyNow! on WBEZ and in a prime time slot!




You can reach Mr. Jones directly at (312) 948-4647. If you don't have time to check it out, you can simply call and say (in your own words) that you like DemocracyNow! because it covers news which the major networks ignore or spin.




Mr. Caithamer is suggesting that volunteers in Dupage county might want to call Mary Pat Larue (630) 942-3708 at WDCB, an NPR affiliate located at the College of DuPage and request that they start airing DemocracyNow!
