SLAP Week of Action Events Announced!

March 31st-April 4th is the 3rd National Student Labor
Week of Action. March 31st is the birthday of Cesar
Chavez and April 4th is the day that Dr. Martin Luther
King was assassinated while organizing Memphis Sanitation
Workers in a campaign attempting to connect civil rights
to economic justice.

March 31 - April 4, 2003, students and workers
will celebrate the lives of Cesar Estrada Chavez and
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by joining together to
demand justice for workers on their campuses and in
their communities.

Direct Action Training(and a run through for those

Argentina Indymedia Activists/Eye of the Storm Productions
These filmmakers have been documenting many of the
untold stories of resistance and revolution in Argentina.

Living Wages, Health Care, and Pensions for Janitors!
and No War in Iraq! 15,000 Chicago area janitors have
a contract that expires on April 6th. Come stand in
solidarity with the workers and students and demanding
a fair contract foir Chicago's janitors!
