Elizabeth Roberts is a 58-year old former university professor and mother of four grown children. With her husband, she has devoted her life to peace work. They are now in Iraq as part of the Iraq Peace Team, organized by the Chicago-based group Voices in the Wilderness. The team is composed of dozens of nonviolent activists who, with other organizations, are maintaining an ongoing presence in Iraq.
