This footage was broken into bitmap frames with VirtualDub.
Then the frames were encoded with Genuine Fractals, to make the frame resolution independent.
After that, it can losslessly be blown up to any size, maintaining an exact representation instead of pixelating.

Each of these frames was enhanced individually with Paint Shop Pros "Edge Perserving Smooth" filter to reduce noize.
All other enhancement and cropping was done using Photoshop's automatic processes.

The single frames were then imported into Quicktime Pro, saved as an uncompressed avi file.
The multiple formats were produced from that master.
