PROTEST THE FORCED TRANSFER OF VETERAN REFERENCE LIBRARIANS FROM HAROLD WASHINGTON LIBRARY CENTER!
Before the appearance of author Thomas Steinbeck (son of John Steinbeck) at the Harold Washington Library Center, there will be an informational picket and leafletting to protest the forced transfer of 2 dozen reference librarians from Harold Washington Library Center (HWLC) to outlying branches, and the systematic minimalization of the Chicago Public Library's Book Collections.
