Iraq: Another desert slaughter?
THE CASE AGAINST THE BUSH DOCTRINE
7pm Saturday, October 19th
University of Illinois--Chicago
Circle Center--Room 509
750 S. Halsted
Speaker: AHMED SHAWKI, editor, International Socialist Review.
GEORGE W. BUSH wants a war on Iraq--and he wants it now. In the last war against Iraq between 100,000 and 200,000 Iraqi civilians and retreating soldiers were slaughtered by the United States.
And now the U.S. government claims it has the right to attack any country in the world without provocation with the new "Bush Doctrine" of "pre-emptive" war.
Come to this forum to discuss the case agianst Bush's war and how we can fight for an alternative to the society that produces wars.
