Chicago: Not In Our Name Demonstation SUNDAY

Will you tell your children ten years from now you did nothing to try to stop the war on Iraq?

11,500 people gathered in peaceful protest in Portland Saturday.  Tens
of thousands will be doing the same throughout the United States Sunday. 
Do your part.  Get out Sunday.

On Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1:00 PM, the Not
in Our Name
project will sponsor a mass convergence at Tribune Plaza to urge
Chicagoans to take a Pledge
of Resistance
- and stop the US government's war
on the world
, the detentions and roundups of immigrants and escalating
repression at home. On Monday, Oct 7 -- the anniversary of the bombing of
Afghanistan -- the Iraq Peace Pledge will sponsor a rally and march at 5:00 PM
at the Federal Building to oppose the war on Iraq.
