in Our Name project will sponsor a mass convergence at Tribune Plaza to urge
Chicagoans to take a Pledge
of Resistance - and stop the US government's war
on the world, the detentions and roundups of immigrants and escalating
repression at home. On Monday, Oct 7 -- the anniversary of the bombing of
Afghanistan -- the Iraq Peace Pledge will sponsor a rally and march at 5:00 PM
at the Federal Building to oppose the war on Iraq.
