Segun Aderemi is an activist on the frontlines of the fight against the horrific poverty that afflicts Africa. He played a leading role in organizing resistance ot the military dictatoship in Nigeria, which was finally brought down in 1999. Although western media now portrays Nigeria as a land of democracy and increased prosperity, Mr. Aderemi is on a U.S. speaking tour to tell the other side of the story.
