Starbucks leafleting and protest Sunday Sept. 22 from Noon - 2pm at 1588 N. Milwaukee.

Throughout the week activists will leaflet and demonstrate at hundreds of stores in what continues to be the largest grassroots campaign of its kind.

During the past 18 months, thousands of activists in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Israel and England have protested and leafleted outside of 800 Starbucks cafes and demanded that the company:

-REMOVE GENETICALLY ENGINEERED INGREDIENTS FROM THEIR FOOD AND DAIRY PRODUCTS ON A WORLDWIDE BASIS

-IMPROVE WORKING CONDITIONS FOR COFFEE PLANTATION WORKERS, AND BREW AND SERIOUSLY PROMOTE FAIR TRADE COFFEE IN ALL OF THEIR CAFES.

Also - Howard Shultz, the chairman of Starbucks is an active zionist. Recently whilst the Israeli army was slaughtering Palestinians in Jenin, Nabulus and Bethlehem he made a provocative speech blaming the Palestinians of terrorism and asking people to unite behind Israel.
