COME SUPPORT TELEMUNDO!
Telemundo reporters: Bilingual, Marketable, Used, and Underpaid.
NBC reporters: Monolingual, Limited Appeal, Happy, and Rich
Since NBC acquired Telemundo to expand its market to the ever expanding Hispanic population in the United States, NBC has proceeded to underpay Telemundo reporters and move to furlough many. Telemundo reporters have remained underpaid for services that have proven valuable to NBC through their bilingual reporting abilities. NBC has been able to use reports on many occasions made by Telemundo for their own reports on English television. Yet NBC reporters are known to make significantly more money than Telemundo reporters. They are an essential asset to NBC and have helped to boost ratings and bring in a wider audience than NBC could ever hope for on its own. Its time that Hispanic-Americans are recognized for their skills and efforts in bringing a different and wider perspective to America's media outlets.
The Hispanic community would like to welcome all who would like to make our voices heard before NBC executives to
