**** STARBUCKS FIFTH GLOBAL WEEK OF ACTION SEPTEMBER 21-28, 2002!

For the past 18 months, thousands of activists in the US, Canada, New
Zealand, Israel and England have protested and leafleted outside of 800
Starbucks cafes and demanded that the company remove GE ingredients from
their food and dairy products and brew and seriously promote fair trade
coffee in all of their cafes. Starbucks is definitely feeling the
pressure and the company has already agreed to some our demands! With
continued pressure, we can ensure they will offer safe food for their
customers and a living wage to poverty stricken coffee growers. During
the week of action, we need your help passing out leaflets outside your
