East Coast based Blackout Arts Collective is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities through the arts, education and activism. The Lyrics on Lockdown Tour encourages those who are incarcerated to effectively and constructively express themselves through the arts. The secondary goal of LOL is to educate audiences about the prison industrial complex and the plight of those impacted by this incarceration crisis.
A natural at spittin' on any subject, effortlessly, Eklypz is one of the nicest MC's hailing from the Gem City (Dayton, OH). A member of the hip-hop collective TOOMB (a one-time opening act for rap luminary Notorious B.I.G. and the Alkaholiks), Eklypz has years under his lyrical belt, and has sharpened his skills in the ring of battle rhymes. With his new single, "All 10", Eklypz (with fellow TOOMB comrades, F.O.R.C.E. and vocalist, Salone) offers a funky and delicious taste of his forthcoming solo debut, Grumpy Old Men.
