Racism in Cuba: One Person's View
Racism is Cuba has long been addressed by Afrcan-Americans. Some opponents of the revolution have comdemned the government for not addressing the problem, while supporters have sometimes overlooked obvious problems. The following analysis acknowledges shortcomings in both performance against, and theoretical understanding of racism while firmly supporting the revolution. Unlike in the U.S., from its inception, the revolutionary government has taken the initiative to eradicate racism.
