Bill Fletcher, former assistant to AFL-CIO President John Sweeney, will give him comments on how labor responded to 9/11. On upcoming Labor Beat Thursday 9:30 pm CAN-TV Ch. 19

Next's Thursdays Labor Beat cable-tv show will focus on labor and the war. One segment will feature Bill Fletcher's comments on how AFL-CIO responded to the Sept. 11 attacks.

Also, Marty Conlisk went to Washington DC on April 20 to cover union activists protesting the war.
