Palestine: A Holocaust Waiting to Happen

Against the backdrop of continuing violence in the Israeli-Occupied West Bank and Gaza, and on the anniversary of what Palestinians call the "Nakba" or Catastrophe of 1948, Society in Focus screens "Tragedies in the Holy Land: the Second Uprising," a new documentary history which departs from most conventional American accounts of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The film will be introduced by a representative of Not In My Name, a Chicago-based Jewish peace organization, and the director of the film, Denis Mueller, will be present to answer questions.
