In solidarity with the Tomato Pickers from Florida, the Chicago communitiy and local students from University of Chicago are attempting to remove the Taco Bell from the its campus. For the moment thousands of signatures have been collected and 25 organizations from the Chicago area have endorsed the campaign [PLEASE CONTACT US TO GIVE YOUR ORGANIZATION'S ENDORSMENT!]
We are going to show to the U of C administration all this material in an exciting COMMUNITY FORUM on TUESDAY 14, along with:
-farmworker testimonial by Fracisca Cortez
-student, community, and faculty opinions
-First Chicago wide screening of the Taco Bell National Caravan Video
-FREE MEXICAN FOOD! (not from Taco Bell)

U of C administration has said that 200-300 people at TUESDAY May 14th event would be considered as enough support to replace the Taco Bell from campus...we are trying to get a local taqueria instead!!!)

COME SUPPORT THIS IMPORTANT CAMPAIGN AGAINST CORPORATE FAST FOOD!!
If we kiff the Taco Bell off of this campus, it will be the catalyst to start a domino effect on other campuses, also starting up their campaigns.
