Rogers Park ISO Forum: HOW CAN WE CHANGE SOCIETY?

How can we change society?
Thursday 7pm, Rogers Park ISO FORUM:
How can we change society?

MANY PEOPLE are disgusted by the war and poverty of this society. The hypocrisy of the U.S.'s "war on terror" resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent Afghans is plain to see. And the Bush administration continues to fund Israel's war on Palestinian civilians.

THE BARBARISM of a society in which over a billion people live on less than a dollar day is indefensible. And as global warming threatens the entire planet, the world's political leaders do nothing. The rich get richer and the rest of us work harder and longer hours just to scrape by.

THERE IS no shortage of people who hate this society and dream of a better one.  But how can we get there? How do we organize? How have people in the past taken on injustices and won?

COME TO this forum to discuss and debate the way we can win a better world.
