Saturday April 27th:
"From Local to Global: the Midwest on Fire"- FREE . . .
Starts at 9 AM, Univ of Illinois Chicago, Lecture Center D-5, Stevenson Hall
Morning Panel: "Contemporary Critiques of Global Capitalism"
Morning and afternoon workshops on a wide plethora of local-global issues and struggles, ranging from feminism, labor, education, and ecology   
Afternoon Panel: "A New World Is Possible: Alternatives to Global Capitalism"
Evening Report Back:  Participants report on action plans, projects arrived at through the day's workshops

Sunday, April 28th: CARNAVAL AGAINST CAPITALISM!! In a celebration of resistance, we will take to the streets and demonstrate with audacious creativity that history is not over, change will yet come, hope is stillalive: 
10:00 AM Gather at Douglas Park, Little Village corner of Sacramento and Ogden
11:00 AM Carnival through the streets of North Lawndale, Little Village, Pilsen
3:00 PM Arrive at Harrison Park, Pilsen, 18th and Damen Radical Kite Fair!!

Wednesday May 1st: ACTIONS AGAINST BOEING AND ARTHUR ANDERSEN (AND ANYTHING ELSE WE/YOU COME UP WITH! )
