For the third year, Chicago is graced by VersionFest, an annual festival of technology, art, and activism. The previous two festivals have been held at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art over an extended weekend, but this year's festival, dubbed Version>04, encompasses two weeks of events across the entire city.


Version>04 launched on April 18 with a number of events at the BUDDY Gallery. Among them was a multimedia presentation affiliated with the book We Are Everywhere, a chronicle of the alterglobalization movement, presented by two of the book's editors (one of whom recently returned from Iraq), as part of a continent-wide book tour.
