On May 20th Chicago IMC photographer Garth Liebhaber will be joining a Christian Peacemaker Teams delegation to Iraq. For two weeks he will partake in a direct witness with these front line peace activists as they work in solidarity with grassroots Iraqi organizations to bring about a just and lasting peace.

We need your support to make this happen!

We invite all people who stand for peace to join us on May 8th for a fundraiser party which will start off with a slideshow informational on the work of CPT and Chicago IMC- two very important projects in this time of unfettered war. We will then screen our latest and greatly anticipated Chicago Independent Television show as well as recent footage from Iraq. The mood will then turn festive as our DJ mixes up inspiring music and folks mix and mingle.

Also displayed will be an exhibit of Garth’s recent photography of the peace movement. These images will be available in a variety of sizes for modest donations.

We are asking for a donation of $12 ($10 reserved), which will include food (Garth’s yet to be famous Three Bean Veggie Chili, appetizers and beverages), a raffle with great prizes, great music and of course great people!
